My next block.........

.....was hard with these flying geese but after hours of finding a good tutorial i managed it. Had a bit of a dilemma earlier on as Robbie's wheelchair wouldnt turn on and he was stuck in his van....we managed to get him out and have a fiddle about but nothing would happen so had to call emergency wheelchair services and we

just had to reset a couple of thing and it was working...so glad it got sorted for him xx

Well here......

......it is my first ever Quilt/Hanging and ive designed it myself and its the first time that i realised i actually learnt something on my textile course about designing as it didnt start off like this!! Anyhow i didnt ever think i would here myself say this but i think ive got the Patchwork bug!!! So watch this space...lol I seem to be making up time now that Robbie seems settled in his flat although he still needs my help with alot of things i feel somewhat detached now. Mystery quilt.....

.....I have never done traditional quilting before and whilst at a shop they were talking about this workshop so I joined! It's a block a month that you have to put together, found it a little hard as instructions were a little unclear but got through it.

If anyone has any tips or know where there are some got tutorials on quilting I'd appreciate it :)

A few things..........

........to show you....firstly my wonderful Granddaughter Kacey making cakes at the weekend, she is definitely gonna be a good cake maker like her nan lolAnd i have also been working on a St Ives themed needle-book....its not quite finished yet!Yay its my Birthday 2moro and im off to Farnborough with one of my great friends Babs....think there is lots of papercrafts there but where gonna check it out and have a fun day like we always do.

A couple.....

........of things ive made over the last week....ive been in bed the past couple of days with a bad cold....really made me fed up as went to a mystery quilt workshop on Saturday and felt very through....tell you more about that when im up to it!

The earphone pouch came from HERE which i made for my Daughter and i did the hoop for my hubby's birthday. Hope you all have a good week and dont catch my cold :-( Mmm is that really true...love more than my craft room....lol long as he thinks that, thats all that matters....lol !!

Vintage Dress..

....i made doing Nancy Maxwell's online tutorial at Paperwhimsy and loving it...i just love her work....got some healthy cookies in the oven and the smell is yummy.
