I went to my local knitting shop today as i really would like to learn crochet so i can make small flowers for my embroidery.....i went around a friends and we did have a laugh trying to do it.....im still none the wiser....lol....how funny!!
Oh jenny i had to laugh when i read your post i have also bought two books wool and hooks in vein of making flowers and i suck lol !! i have started the atc for you but i will have to try and finish it this weekend cos i am at sewfest tomorrow, it's big sewing expo and i am taking a class which i am looking forward to , we are making fabric postcards and it's with Donna Funnel she is a member on famm and embellisher network. well hopefully will have something to share soon, good luck with the crochet hugs michelle
Jennie, having a little giggle here at your expense, sorry. Crochet was one of the first things I was taught to do by my mother. I do hope you find your way around all the loops and stitches, hang in there, you'll get the hang of it.
Im really beginning to think that you need to be show by another person how to do this a bit like knitting....i just need to find someone near to me....lol....there is a course but its £65 and i aint paying that just to make some flowers....

I’m also a wife of 33years and mum to two Son's and one Daughter, my youngest son who is 19 is physically disabled and has a condition called Arthrogryposis i also have three granddaughters who i adore their ages are 10 and 7 and they both love crafts....the baby is only 6 months!!
I have one dog called Naughty Lola!! And a tortoise called speedy......and three goldfish.
