I made this with some Tyvek.....you add different textures and stitch onto it and then cover and iron and it shrinks and goes different shapes and it put some holes in too....i really enjoyed working with it.

  3. Wow i love it ! i havn't tried tyvek yet i was looking for somewhere to buy it and i just found out i can get from the hardware store. So i was wondering did you use your embellisher on it or just sewing machine ?
I am also on with making your ATC hoping to get it finished in the next day or so, so i can get it in the mail to you.
I had a great time in my postcard class it is very similar to an atc but postcard size 4x6 i believe they are traded the same way as atc except you mail them like a regular postcard so some people put either paper or a stiffer fabric on the back to write the address on etc. Mine arrived in a clear envelope so the stamp was placed on the clear but my details were printed on the postcard inside the clear envelope.
Hope your having fun in your class are you learning lots of techniques ?

  4. Tyvek is fun to work with, you can paint it too and emboss it.
Just don't breathe the fumes Jennie, they are toxic! This looks yummy.

  5. I've not used Tyvek but what a fab result you've got with it. I just might have to hunt some out to have a go with.

  9. Hope you have a fab time. I will be hoping for good weather for you. It's been lovely and sunny the last couple of days but very chilly in the shade. You will need a cardi or woolly pully

    Have fun! xoxo
