Soon.......


........this year will be over and a new one will begin.....which brings me to my 50 birthday in Feb!! O my where have all the years gone i wish i had found my love for sewing sooner as i feel i still have a lot of crafty things i would love to do....but getting tired by the minute! Every year my birthday has a sad touch to it....will let you know more about this on the big day....Thought id share this picture of me at a workshop with Richard Box x

  2. I have 8 years on you Jen and I know what you mean about time racing by and energy going with it ;-) There's still plenty of time to enjoy though. How great to have a class with Richard Box. Happy New Year :-) xx

  5. Hi Jen, I love the picture of you, i am catching you up with age... time flies and it seems to be going so quick these days. I wish i had started sewing again earlier but like you i am enjoying learning new techniques and making new friends along the way.. I wish you all the best for 2011

  6. I love your picture, Jennie. You need not be afraid, with 50 you have still so much possibilities. I am one generation past you and am still terribly much enjoying all this stitching and creating and contacts to people of same interest, even attending classes. So be optimistic and you will see after your 50th birthday nothing will change - you will feel exactly like before. Happy new year to you!

  8. As I discovered in June the start of a new decade is great, at 50 I still want to try everything but I will do it a little more slowly, that way you enjoy it more & it's not such a blur!

  10. Enjoy the day!! When I got to 54 I just reversed the digits in my head (45) So now I am 5 years older and still only 50! Clever ha!! (Useful tip for later)lol.
    I bet a Richard Box class was fab- lucky you!
