.....I have never done traditional quilting before and whilst at a shop they were talking about this workshop so I joined! It's a block a month that you have to put together, found it a little hard as instructions were a little unclear but got through it.
If anyone has any tips or know where there are some got tutorials on quilting I'd appreciate it :)

Good luck with the block of the month Jen. Some patchwork instructions assume everyone is a seasoned pieceworker!! I love the block design, and the fabrics. I can see it being a lovely quilt. Will try to remember some good quilting blogs. Possibly Radka has some helpful ones on her sidebar. Cheers for now.
ReplyDeleteGood for you Jennie! Just do a search..there are literally hundreds of great you tube. Foundation piecing, English piecing...
ReplyDeleteI'll enjoy seeing your quilt coming along!
Kudos, jen, for taking this on! Too much precision needed for my liking, but your quilt is looking good!
ReplyDeleteJen the start on your quilt is very beautiful, love the fabric you use and the pattern is so lovely, try google free quilt pattern and you will find a lot.

How brave of you - I have NEVER been a quilter - I hate unpicking and there would be a lot of it in my quilts! Your design looks great - do enjoy. BTW, I think I have finally got rid of those stupid verification letters on my blog. Cheers
