Sounds great - I have lots of lace and crochet bits and bobs which I think would benefit from coffee dyeing. Will love to see your fabric book.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the job etc and hope uni works out brill for Robbie. Wipso & Twiglet
Coffee and tea dying yield interesting results. And when you do a lot you have lots of choices when it comes time to put it together. Ask me, I have a bag full... It will be a fun project and I am sure you will make her something grand. We love our guard dogs don't we! xox Corrine
ReplyDeleteJen, love tea/coffee dyeing. Can't wait to see what you come up with 'creatively' speaking. Should be fun.
ReplyDeleteNow, that photo of Lola is brilliant. We have a TV programme here 'Funniest Home Videos', probably on all over the world. One of the segments begins with 'What is that dog looking at'. Lola's photo would be great for the intro instead of the one they are now using. It's an excellent photo.
Lola does look very much like she is in charge doesn't she.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have done any coffee dyeing. Have lots of lace bits so I might need to try it.
Jen thanks for your comments on my blog. Sorry if the seaside pics are a source of discontent.LOL I am lucky enough to be able to see a glimpse of the sea from my kitchen window and because we are on a peninsula we have water in easy reach, in fact there is not a day goes by that I don't drive somewhere with a sea view.
Ooooh, sounds like a lovely project... I am sure your daughter will love it... as for Lola... too cute... I just love dogs... and from behind she looks like a boxer, and I have always loved boxers but have never owned one... Hugs!
ReplyDeleteThe coffee dyeing sounds like fun. I've tried tea dyeing, but not coffee. Thanks for your lovely comments on my blog. If you could e-mail me Jennny I would like to "chat" to you. I'd like to send you a "little something". My Profile page has the e-mail address.
ReplyDeleteHope you can have a little rest with all that "heavy stuff" happening to you.
Cheers
Judyxx
