VENTING.......

.......WOW that was a really hard seating appointment at the wheelchair services with Robbie, i feel so stressed me and hubby could have easily have walked out, nothing was right and its been going on for 10 months now!! anyway come home with new seat after 3 hours and Robs done nothing but moan ever since i understand what he is saying but nothing else can be done and he has to get used to it.....if its aching him he needs for me to get him out and have a rest till he has built up the tolerance.....the problem was he has had his seat for so long it has perished and metal was sticking through!! But one good thing we did manage to sort out was so he could drive his van if that makes sense....so hard to explain as one little change can put everything out.....oh and when they were altering the wheelchair they noticed the frame had snapped they done a temp repair until 2moro but now im worrying they are gonna take it away for a few days...which is gonna make it even harder for us.....and poor Nige is on holiday for two weeks....good holiday hey!!

HELP ;(

  1. O dear, I think you need to sit down and chill! What an awful experience. It always makes me wonder how people in the caring professions cannot see how this kind of disorganisation causes so much distress in already tough situations. Hope Robbie gets sorted out and your hubby gets a bit of a break at least.

  3. oh my! jenny, you are having a rough time, aren't you? i would feel just as stressed in your shoes. but you are holding it together and that's what amazes me! you ARE having a time of it, you ARE stressed, but you're talking about it and seeing some positives too... I don't know you at all, but you come across as a strong one.

  4. Yes Jenny, my thoughts go out to you. My dad used to get angry and frustrated when things weren't right with his frames, chair etc.Used to take it out on the only people he could take it out on- his Family. Oh I wish I could take you out for a much needed coffee, and a big Hug, and a laugh!!Hang in there Jenny!!

  5. Sending a cyber hug to you Jen. You seem to cope with so much so well, I can understand how frustrating it must be having to deal with these people who cannot think outside the square.

Chin up girl....have you tried a cushion made out of a couple of layers of that eggshell foam. xx ooo

  6. Jen, I do hope things work out for you. These issues can really take their toll.
try to relax - I imagine these things really cause Robby a lot of stress and therefore he gets cranky. Sending hugs.
