Im on a workshop by Shelagh Folgate called FOLLOW MY HEART - create stitched panels based on the designs from the altered book pages created in the workshop It is a NEW concept, directly taking paper / design / altered art & creating stitched pieces. The 6 fortnightly lessons will explore Colour, texture, Line & shapes in paper & in fabric & FOLLOWING a theme, English Country Garden or a theme of your own choosing. Stitching can be by hand or machine, samples & ideas will be given for both. Ive chosen St Ives my favourite place....all things about the sea - and the photos are some of my work already x |
Jen, this sounds like a great workshop, which will really be getting your creativity flowing. I would love to do something like that.
