THE MEETING

It was dreadful yesterday , the whole week leading up to it has been so bad!....trying to get through to her was like hitting a brick wall....God only knows whats gonna happen but i put a great case across with the help of a good friend who sat in with me and we got answers.......what i did get her to find out from her manager is if it all falls through he can revert to what he has now at uni....and he said YES....It would mean losing the flat tho and thats what they have always been working towards.......its so hard to explain it to you as there is so much more.

Thanks for all your kind words and support....your all the best.

Oh it will go in front of a board on Tue so hopefully will know Wed x

  1. I have only just picked up blogging again as have been busy for a while so had to read your previous posts to catch up. Unbelievable!! On the one hand they seem to hand out money and help to people who really don't need so much and could help themselves and then completely fail those who really do need that care. Good Luck. I hope Wednesday brings you some good news.

  3. Can only hope now that it goes your way. Good luck, it would be such a shame to lose the flat. I hope someone at that meeting can argue the case in your favour.

  9. Hi Jen, I have tried to comment but you know how blogger is. You are in my thoughts and I do hope it all works out for the best. You have done such a great job in preparing Robbie for life in the wider world. You should be so proud! Dian xxx

  11. My heart goes out to you. I know what it 's like to finally get help in some way, only to have it taken away in another. I've had very little help from social services in looking after my mum.
